AFEPASA strengthens its leadership in the wine sector in Valladolid

 

The city of Valladolid provided the ideal setting for the first edition of the Agrovid 2020 Trade Fair, an event that promises to become a national and international benchmark as a meeting point for professionals in a sector of extraordinary importance in Spain: grapevine cultivation.

Among the various presentations and workshops held over the three-day event, the session organised by AFEPASA on the sustainability of terroir expression stood out. The presentation was given by Jesús Yuste, a leading figure in Spain’s wine sector, Agricultural Engineer and viticulture researcher at the Agrarian Technological Institute of Castilla y León (ITACYL).

The second part of this technical session also featured Agricultural Engineer Guillermo Vázquez and Francisco Julián Lozano, Agricultural Technical Engineer in AFEPASA’s R&D Department, who explored the potential of sulphur-based biostimulation and integrated pest management through the use of magnesium (Mg).
