For more than 125 years, AFEPASA has been committed to developing products that can help promote the growth, protection and optimal development of your crops, drawing on the many properties of sulphur for agricultural use, whether as a fertiliser, plant protection product or natural biostimulant.

To achieve this goal, we are fully aware that we must not only devote all our efforts to developing the best products on the market through the daily work of our R&D&I department, but also stay close to you at all times, in order to understand your needs, provide the agricultural solution that best meets the requirements of your crops, and answer any questions you may have.

For this reason, throughout this autumn we will be present and actively participating in the main industry events and professional gatherings, making it easier for you to meet us in person, learn about the alternatives we offer for the protection and development of your crops, or simply have an informal conversation about your interests and concerns, from professional to professional.

1st Congress on Sustainable Soil Management | Palencia – 28 September

We will begin our participation in the various professional events related to the agricultural sector taking place this autumn on 28 September in Palencia, at the 1st Congress on Sustainable Soil Management, organised by Tierras Agricultura magazine and the Spanish Association of Agronutrient Manufacturers (AEFA).

As this event focuses specifically on promoting agricultural alternatives that contribute to sustainable soil management, we will explore the solutions offered by our SULTECH® technology for treating highly saline and sodic soils or soils with high pH, as well as its role in naturally unlocking phosphorus and other micronutrients present in the organic matter that makes up agricultural soil.

In addition, among the various presentations scheduled at the 1st Congress on Sustainable Soil Management, our Director of Research and Development, Daniel García-Seco, will discuss the many possibilities offered by sulphur-based biostimulants for the effective and sustainable improvement of agricultural soils.

Fruit Attraction 2022 | Madrid – 4–6 October

In early October, we will also be showcasing the benefits of our agricultural products, particularly those developed using our exclusive SULTECH® technology, at Fruit Attraction 2022, the International Fruit and Vegetable Trade Fair organised annually by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Producers and Exporters of Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers and Live Plants (FEPEX) at IFEMA Madrid.

As part of this internationally renowned event for the fruit and vegetable sector—and more specifically during one of the technical talks included in the event programme—we will also present our AFEPASA Greenhouse Sulphur Tablets, 99.9% pure sulphur tablets for greenhouse evaporators, which have already obtained official plant protection product registration in numerous international markets.

IRTA Fruit Growing Conference | Mollerussa – 19–20 October

We also consider our presence and active participation essential at the Technical Conference on the Fruit Growing Sector, organised annually by the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), part of the Government of Catalonia, in Mollerussa.

On this occasion, we will focus on presenting different agricultural solutions that are particularly useful for fruit trees and almond trees throughout their entire cultivation cycle: preparing trees and facilitating leaf fall with Solfourea Pallarés Liquid Plus, promoting soil health and preparation with Organosul 20S, and contributing to the comprehensive protection of trees and their production with AZUMO MG.

AGROTICA 2022 | Thessaloniki, Greece – 20–23 October

We will also be present in October at the 26th International Fair of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Congress Centre in Greece, with the aim of further showcasing our different solutions designed to promote the health and optimal condition of agricultural soils, including Microsul and Organosul, as well as the ability of products derived from our exclusive SULTECH® technology to help prevent powdery mildew.

We are particularly pleased to be participating in AGROTICA for the first time, an internationally renowned event for the agricultural sector. You can find us in Hall 1 – Stand 5.

ABIM 2022 | Basel, Switzerland – 24–26 October

Before the end of October, we will attend ABIM 2022 in Basel, the leading annual international event for the biological control industry, where you can visit us at Stand 087.

Dionysud 2022 | Béziers, France – 15–17 November

In mid-November, we will be at Dionysud, the professional trade fair for the wine-growing sector in southern France, a sector closely linked to our activity due to our longstanding involvement in developing solutions for vineyards, both through sublimated sulphur in dispersible granule form and through the development of liquid application products based on concentrated suspension for vineyards, including Visul GD 80 and Liquid Sulphur SC.

Growtech 2022 | Antalya, Turkey – 23–26 November

To round off the year, we will participate for the first time in Growtech, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the greenhouse industry. We will be attending alongside the Spanish Association of Manufacturers-Exporters of Agricultural Machinery and Components, Greenhouses, Crop Protection, Irrigation Systems, Livestock Equipment, Animal Health and Nutrition, Forestry, Biomass and Post-Harvest Machinery (AGRAGEX), as well as other member companies.

At this event, we will showcase to the Turkish and Middle Eastern markets the benefits of sulphur for horticultural crops grown under greenhouse systems, with a particular focus on our exclusive SULTECH® technology.
