AFEPASA promotes electric mobility with a new charging station

 

AFEPASA has been awarded funding for the installation of two 22 kW semi-fast charging points at its facilities. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to promoting more sustainable mobility and reducing the environmental impact of its daily operations.

The funding is provided by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU Fund, as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. It falls under the MOVES III Programme (2021–2024), the national incentive programme for efficient and sustainable mobility promoted by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge through IDAE, and managed in Catalonia by the Institut Català d’Energia (ICAEN).

With this new infrastructure, AFEPASA strengthens its energy transition strategy by facilitating the charging of electric vehicles belonging to employees, visitors and its internal fleet. The company continues to implement measures that contribute to the decarbonisation of the sector and the modernisation of its processes based on efficiency, innovation and environmental responsibility.
