AFEPASA, A COMPANY COMMITTED TO CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH

AFEPASA continues to demonstrate its commitment to childhood cancer research, this time through a solidarity campaign aimed at its customers and partners, with the objective of raising awareness of the SJD Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona, the new paediatric oncology centre at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital. The company has carried out an awareness campaign among its customers and suppliers, raising funds for the #paralosvalientes campaign to care for and treat children suffering from this disease.

This is not AFEPASA’s first collaboration with childhood cancer research. Among other initiatives, the company has supported the Masroig Vi Solidari Fair, which for eight years has brought together five wineries from Priorat to produce and distribute a charity wine. To date, the initiative has raised more than €150,000 for the Oncology Laboratory of the same hospital.

Thanks to collaborations such as AFEPASA’s, construction of the SJD Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona has been able to begin. It is the largest centre in Europe for the treatment of childhood cancer, but funds are still needed to bring the centre to life and provide it with all the necessary resources to care for brave children from here and around the world.
